The evolution of a western wandering and curious Stanford student, NASA engineer, mother of two, and nationally recognized cake designer has now unfolded into my next creative adventure—visual arts. I work in encaustic, watercolor, and mixed media, carrying forward the same spirit of curiosity, play, and craftsmanship that shaped my work at Studio Cake in the Bay Area. Living between San Francisco and Mariposa, I am inspired by both the vibrancy of the city and the quiet, rugged beauty of the Sierra foothills. My work reflects a love of art, food, people, furry creatures, and the land I call home, with a sensibility that is eclectic, joyful, and rooted in the everyday magic of making.
